The Abandoned Heir Returns, and All the People Kneel

I'm the younger twin. When we were little, a Taoist priest read my brother's fortune and said he was the Ziwei Star descended to earth.

To keep me from taking any of his fortune, my parents listened to malicious rumors and threw me into the Dragon-Locking Well.

The only companion I had down there was an old jiao on the verge of death.

Many years later, a great drought struck the land. My brother, the chosen one, ascended the altar to pray for rain, while the people knelt in worship and my parents watched proudly from below.

Suddenly, the sky darkened. A giant dragon soared into the air, and standing atop its head was me, the one who should have died long ago.

I looked at my terrified family on the altar and slowly spoke: I hear you're praying to me for rain?
