The Secret Record of Tomb Raiders: Traces in the Ashes of War

The Dragon Vein’s shocking upheaval, the ghost city of the Western Regions, the Miao borderlands’ Gu cave, the South Sea’s Guixu… Zhang Xiaoyu is the young master of Shigu Zhai, an antique shop in Beiping. His grandfather was the last officially appointed Imperial Tomb Raider at the end of the Qing Dynasty. His father died young, and he was raised by his grandfather, Zhang Qianshan. In Beiping, Zhang Xiaoyu seems like an ordinary young man who runs a shabby antique shop and jokes around, but he has inherited his grandfather’s skills and is an expert at locating dragon veins, identifying burial sites, and disarming mechanisms. Influenced by new ideas, he despises tomb robbing, yet he is exceptionally skilled and deeply loyal. His grandfather’s mysterious death draws him into a whirlpool of fate.
