If Heaven Wants Me Dead, I'll Defy It and Rewrite My Fate

Heaven is unkind, treating all things as straw dogs,

It would destroy me, reducing me to dust.

Xuan Shuang is no creature of a pond,

Though my spiritual root is shattered, my resolve grows ever stronger!

A golden needle in one hand makes Yama tremble,

My fists strike with such force that gods and ghosts despair.

I will storm the ninth heaven and shatter the Hall of the Clouds,

Then shine with the moon through autumn for all eternity!

“If Heaven wants me dead, then I'll defy Heaven!” These were not merely Mo Xuan Shuang's furious words, but the first counterblow he struck against his predetermined fate.

Once a prodigy who stunned his generation with mastery of both medicine and martial arts, he glimpsed a heavenly taboo and, just as he was about to reach the summit, was struck by the “Nine Profound Annihilation Divine Thunder.” His foundation was destroyed and his cultivation wiped away. Betrayed by his closest friend and abandoned by the woman he loved, he fell from the clouds and became an insect anyone could trample. Heaven was merciless: it stole his cultivation, crushed his hopes, and marked him as an “error” that had to be erased.

But Heaven had missed one thing: in the depths of endless despair, he awakened the dormant legacy of the Primordial Medical Sage within him, the Heaven-Defying Tome of Fate. From that moment on, he embarked on a path to defy fate with a mortal body, rewrite life and death through medicine, and reshape the world through martial arts!
