Under the crooked neck tree in Meishan, the cold wind of the 17th year of Chongzhen was fierce.
Lin Yue, a graduate student in the history department, opened his eyes and turned out to be Emperor Chongzhen who was about to hang himself. Li Zicheng and Zhang Xianzhong were defeated internally, and the Manchu and Qing Tatars were expelled externally. The Northeast was recovered, Taiwan was pacified, and the Ming Dynasty was reunited.
But this is by no means the end.
He was well aware of the general trend of the world, set sail, led his fleet across the Pacific, planted the Great Ming Dragon Flag on the west coast of America, established overseas colonies, plundered gold and silver, and fought against European colonists; he marched westward, allied with France, checked Britain and the West, swept across the European continent with rifled guns and steam warships, and included the Holy Roman Empire and Russia in his territory.
From surviving in the Meishan Mountains to the Northern Expedition to expel the Tartars; from colonizing America to conquering Europe; from the crumbling Southern Ming Dynasty to a global empire spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, the United States and Australia.
Lin Yue fulfilled his oath throughout his life: "The sun and the moon are shining brightly, and the world is home. I want the flag of China to be planted in every inch of the world!"
