In the 17th year of Chongzhen, the Jiashen Incident occurred, and the land of China was destroyed. The Qing army trampled across the Central Plains, and under the order of shaving their heads and becoming more obedient, countless Ming remnants - gentry, craftsmen, military households, and farmers - who were unwilling to submit to foreign rule, carried Chinese classics, farming and weaving skills, and unyielding integrity, sailed to the South Sea in dilapidated ships, cut through the waves, and finally arrived at a southern continent (Australia) called "New Netherlands" in the West.
