Centered on Chen Ye’s journey of growth, the story weaves together four themes: an underdog’s rise, the forging of a soldier, the passing on of duty, and devotion to the nation. It portrays an ordinary soldier’s transformation into a senior commander, while exploring the legacy of a military family and the development of the national defense effort.
