The Moon Exploded from the Start, So I Fled with My Brothers

The moon has exploded. It was no accident, but the death knell of the Old Gods.

As Earth became a graveyard, Chen Xing and his three brothers boarded the starship ark activated by their family heirloom peace charm: the Kunpeng. It was no cold, lifeless vessel, but a living behemoth that could bond with souls and evolve by devouring resources.

They discovered that the universe had changed. The civilization of the Watchers, once its overseers, had collapsed, and the stars had become a dark forest where rival powers rose on every side. Savage exiled mutants, mysterious remnants of the Watchers, wary native inhabitants of other planets… All factions fought frantically for power amid the ruins.

In this sea of stars, where danger and opportunity coexisted, Chen Xing knew that running offered no way out. Only by striking first could they win humanity a place among the stars. Aboard the Kunpeng, they searched for the legendary seed of civilization, the Seed of Jianmu, said to be capable of raising a shelter beneath the stars, as brotherhood and ideals were tested to the breaking point.
