I woke up in a strange ruins, with only a cracked "Fool" card in my pocket.
This is a world where gods tower in the sky and agents patrol the earth. The twenty-two cards of the Lord God and the fifty-six cards of the Executor form the cornerstone of power and order, and are also an insurmountable power gap for mortals.
And I am just a stranger lost here. The only guidance is the familiar line of text on the back of the cards: "Collect seventy-eight tarot cards and you can return to your hometown."
In order to return home, I must walk through this broken world full of dangers and miracles, looking for the cards scattered everywhere that carry the power of the gods. Little did I know that this journey in the name of "homecoming" would be on the precipice of fate from the very beginning.
When the eyes of the gods were cast by my actions, and when the ancient order was quietly touched, I vaguely realized that the Fool card in my hand may not be pointing to the way back, but another more grand and cruel...
The game of fools.
