Struck by Lightning, I Borrowed Heavily and Transmigrated to the Late Ming

In the sixth year of Chongzhen, Liu Jie transmigrates into the body of an eight-year-old boy on the brink of starvation. With a portable space stocked full of food and weapons, he narrowly escapes death amid the desperate flight from famine. He leads Xiong Qian, Zhao Yan, and their other companions to Taohua Mountain, where they build a ten-meter-high fortress wall out of cement, clear land and grow grain, and train hard in archery. After repelling attacks by refugees, they carve out a haven amid the chaos. When Liu Xiaocui visits the stronghold, she sees that everyone there is barely more than a child and worries for their safety. She promises to return to her hometown and recruit trustworthy soldiers to help them. A bowl of rich, savory chicken soup, a fortress wall as solid as a rock, and a band of companions fighting side by side: though still a child, Liu Jie gives everything he has to protect this rare pocket of peace and hope in a world in turmoil...
