His Little Star

A group project for a social psychology class forces optimistic, resilient Lin Xingchen and Jiang Shu, who keeps his inner world closed off, to become partners. Everyone expects Lin Xingchen to hit a wall in front of this "iceberg," but with her professional insight into psychology, she sees through his cold exterior to the loneliness and kindness beneath.

As they work together on their project, their hearts grow ever closer. Jiang Shu discovers the hidden pain beneath Lin Xingchen's smile, while Lin Xingchen becomes the only light in Jiang Shu's world. He shields her from the world's malice, and she heals his inner wounds. They are not only lovers, but each other's most steadfast allies. Together, they carve a path through their studies and entrepreneurial ventures, face trial after trial from family, society, and the past, and ultimately help each other become better versions of themselves.
