The protagonist of the story, Ergou, is a rookie in the world who "cannot do anything well and is the first to get into trouble." His biggest dream is to become the leader of the martial arts alliance, but he always fails in shocking ways. Next to him, there is a fat cat with a vicious tongue named "Fat Orange". Not only can he speak human words, but he is also the chief complainer and "victim" at the scene where the two dogs got into trouble.
Ergou's journey to the martial arts world began by chance: he picked up a secret book called "Nine Sun Magic Skills: Waipi Edition" under a cliff. The content in the book was absurd, but he regarded it as a guide. He mistakenly thought that he was a martial arts wizard who could not be seen in a century. From then on, he determined to go out and enter the martial arts world.
His main conflicts stem from "misunderstandings and mistakes." There is a famous "hypocrite hero" in the world - Mo Wentian. On the surface, he is just and awe-inspiring, but in fact, he is sinister and cunning, secretly planning to control the martial arts world. However, Mo Wentian was mistaken by Er Gou as a "martial arts model" and was repeatedly messed up by Er Gou's "kindness" and "help" at the most critical moments of his conspiracy. Ergou thought he was doing chivalry and justice every time, but in fact he was inadvertently "helping Zhou to cause harm", or more accurately, "helping Zhou to cause chaos", which made Mo Wentian's plan fail step by step, making him full of jokes.
For example, Mo Wentian wanted to frame his opponent at a martial arts conference, but Er Gou mistakenly thought he was setting up a "surprise" and burned down the venue; Mo Wentian wanted to meet his comrades in secret, but Er Gou mistakenly thought he was "cultivating in seclusion" and sent a bunch of strange "supplements" to attract countless onlookers, completely exposing Mo Wentian's whereabouts. Fat Orange stood aside and watched coldly, using his words from time to time.
