Jiang, Please Stop Crushing on Me

On the first day of school, my sworn enemy, Jiang Xun, and I became roommates.

He’s the aloof campus heartthrob of the computer science department, while I’m the “human husky” of the sports department.

He has a serious case of OCD. I’m laid-back and carefree.

From then on, we fought a hundred rounds over who got the bathroom, drew a line down the middle of the living room, and even labeled our own eggs in the fridge.

I thought we were destined to be at odds for the rest of our lives.

Until one day, I accidentally discovered that this roommate who complained about me every day was the esports god “Xun,” whom I’d admired in games for three years!

My whole worldview shattered. I decided... to bounce between our online and offline lives and expose his cold, aloof secret identity!

But little by little, things started to change.

When I had a stomachache, he awkwardly made me a bowl of sweet soup.

When he stayed up late, I found myself bringing him a midnight snack.

We still bickered, but the way he looked at me grew increasingly strange.

One night, after we’d both had too much to drink, he cornered me in the entryway. His warm breath brushed my ear as he said in a hoarse voice:

“Lin Ye, don’t smile at anyone else. I’ll go crazy.”
