...A workaholic Host meets a slacker System, and this Qing Dynasty career-climbing story goes completely off the rails!
Liuli, a famous workaholic in the quick transmigration bureau, has just emerged as the biggest winner in the Nine Princes’ succession struggle scenario. Exhausted in body and mind, all she wants is to apply for an easy world where she can take it easy.
But just then, her System receives a “more user-friendly” upgrade. The new System, Xiao Qi, is lively and unpredictable, with all its features devoted to chatting and playing shows. Its only useful help is providing the complete Empresses in the Palace series as a teaching video.
“Host, our goal is to conquer the harem with food and gossip!”
And so, the story goes completely off the rails:
While the other consorts dance gracefully in the imperial garden, Liuli is being egged on by Xiao Qi to study “barbecue in the imperial kitchens.”
While they plot and scheme against one another, Liuli and Xiao Qi are arguing fiercely over the storyline of My Fair Princess.
While they compete to outshine one another, Liuli is hosting a comedy show in her mind with Xiao Qi, laughing so hard her shoulders shake.
