Qin Shi Huang

I am Ying Zheng, the soul of the Ancestral Dragon, chosen by fate.

I once conquered the Six Kingdoms, unified the realm, standardized the written language and the width of carts, and laid the foundations for countless generations to come.

Now, I am nearing the end of my life, looking back on it all from the Palace of Sand Dunes. The world calls me cruel, suspicious, and absurd in my pursuit of immortality, but they do not understand: I was not fighting mere mortals, but fate itself!

Lü Buwei saw me as a rare commodity; Lao Ai violated my mother; Zhao Gao followed me like a shadow... They all became stepping stones on my path to becoming emperor. I built the Great Wall, constructed my imperial tomb, and sought elixirs of immortality, not for my own desires, but to raise an everlasting monument for humankind.

Now, fate’s decree is nearing its end. But I, Ying Zheng, will make the heavens hear my story for another three thousand years!
