Q: What happens when a cold-blooded top assassin crosses paths with the world’s number-one hacker, a deranged tech geek?
A: Things get unfortunate.
Yaying, the assassin king who strikes fear into the industry, receives the toughest assignment of his career: eliminate the hacker Zero. He infiltrates his target’s apartment, ready to kill in one strike.
And then… he gets disciplined.
Not with a gun, but by a geek in Pikachu pajamas with bedhead, and the rebellious smart devices under his command: a robot vacuum rams his ankles, a coffee machine sprays with pinpoint accuracy, and smart curtains wrap him up like a silkworm ready for the slaughter.
Zero, the target, turns around lazily with a lollipop in his mouth. “I’ve been waiting ages. Want to play online? My roommate just moved out.”
And so begins the assassin’s miserable (crossed out) wonderful new life.
His daily routine changes from stealthy assassinations to:
Having voice-command duels with the smart toilet.
Saving his milk tea from spilling in the middle of a hail of bullets.
Stopping his hacker from using an enemy sniper’s signal to mooch off the neighbor’s Wi-Fi.
And figuring out how to tactfully tell his teammate that the tranquilizer darts fired by his newly invented “health management fridge” are way too likely to hit their own side by mistake.
