I Buried a Body in a Mass Grave, Only to Unearth a Peerlessly Beautiful Empress

My name is Su Chen. I’m a corpse collector at a mass grave in the Great Yan Dynasty, and my job is to bury the bodies no one cares about. In this cultivation world, where human lives are as worthless as grass, my only wish is to save enough money and live out my days unnoticed. Then, on a rainy night, I found a “female corpse” that was still warm. Her beauty was peerless, and she wore tattered celestial robes. Even “dead,” she radiated an oppressive might that made all things submit. Moved by compassion, I decided to dig her the finest grave myself. But as I shoveled the last clod of earth into place, a voice rang out in my mind: [Ding! Host has successfully buried the ‘Fallen Profound Ice Female Emperor.’ The All Things Return to Earth System is activated!] [Reward: 10 divine-grade Foundation Establishment Pills and the imperial-tier cultivation manual, The Supreme Record of Passionless Emotions!] I was utterly stunned. Before I could react, the grave exploded, and the peerlessly beautiful female emperor I had just buried opened her eyes and stared coldly at me. “Was it you who buried me just now?”
