The Rogue Imperial Tutor in the Yongle Era

Chen Lang, once a top management consultant, transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes a scholar on the verge of starving to death. Desperate to survive, he actually robs Prince of Yan Zhu Di! With a blade at his throat, he counters by presenting a “Performance Appraisal Plan.” “Your Highness, would you like to make the people of the realm beg you to become emperor?” From then on, the Ming Dynasty takes a wild new turn. Zheng He sets sail on voyages to the Western Seas and starts trading “maritime futures,” making a fortune every day. The Imperial Bodyguards are driven to work all night by “KPIs” and beg to be transferred. Ministers throughout the court compete to outwork one another under Chen Lang's evaluations. As the flourishing age he built with his own hands arrives, Zhu Di once again holds a sword to his neck. “Mr. Chen, you’ve calculated everything under Heaven. How, then, should I... evaluate your performance?”
