This is a beginner's work, so please don't hate on it if it's not your cup of tea!!!!
Lin Jiujiu is a good-for-nothing girl whose only ambition is to lie flat. To protect herself, she fakes an accident to get close to Yan Wuchen, the strongest Immortal Venerable in the cultivation world, and unexpectedly becomes his only disciple. Everyone says the Immortal Venerable is cold and strict, but Lin Jiujiu discovers that although he claims he is leaving her to her own devices, he gives her all the resources, protection, and one-on-one guidance she could want, spoiling her rotten.
When her Chaos Spirit Body awakens and she is branded a world-destroying “demon fetus,” with the whole world against her, Yan Wuchen shields her and points his sword at all creation. “If the Heavenly Dao harms her, I will defy heaven. If the world slanders her, I will slaughter them all.”
From then on, the aloof Immortal Venerable turns against the Dao for her, while the laid-back girl rises to greatness for him. And when the truth is finally revealed, she turns out to be the one and only savior of the world. Once the dust settles, atop the Azure Cloud Peak, he gently strokes her tousled hair, his eyes full of affection. “Did you slack off on your lessons again today?”
