When Our Paths Cross, No Chickening Out

Zhou Ziyu and Liu Shuyu are well-known archenemies at Nanchuan Middle School. They clash over academics and club activities, their relationship as hostile as fire and water. One late-night heart-to-heart, brought about by chance, lets Zhou Ziyu glimpse the crushing family burdens hidden beneath Liu Shuyu's perfect facade, and for the first time, a crack appears in their relationship. Just as their growing understanding begins to ease the tension between them, a video of Liu Shuyu getting into a fight to protect Zhou Ziyu from bullying is maliciously leaked. He now faces the threat of being disqualified from a competition, while the whole school begins to doubt Zhou Ziyu's trust in him.

Under immense pressure, Zhou Ziyu chooses not to stay silent. Risking her own future, she searches for evidence to clear Liu Shuyu's name, and the two join forces to fight the real mastermind behind it all.

They emerge victorious and realize that the greatest strength is not defeating each other, but learning to show their vulnerability and stand side by side.
