Out on her travels, Chu Zhao just wants to hatch eggs, count her gold coins, and find her way back to the village.
She never expected to be picked up by a dragon, bundled together for sale with a gluttonous rabbit senior, and then gifted a limited-edition fox through an agreement made by their elders, among others...
Until a rabbit from the future tells her in terror:
“These four beside you are the Four Great Calamities who will destroy the Beast World Continent in the future: war, famine, plague, and earthquake!”
Chu Zhao looks at what’s before her:
Long Yao (War), who makes meals for her with his own hands, is carefully blowing on the hot soup in his spoon to cool it.
Hu Si (Plague), who helps her pick out dresses, is complaining that the fabric isn’t good enough for her beauty.
When the truth is revealed, she must command the calamities, confront the truth behind it all, and save the entire Beast World Continent, turning aside the predetermined destruction brought by outsiders.
Because she is the one and only spirit in the prophecy who can walk alongside the calamities.
