The Top Student Is Putting on an Act Again

To escape his family’s control, Lu Xingye transferred to Nanchuan No. 1 High School, determined to be a lazy underachiever. On his first day, he met Shen Yiqing, the legendary “academic loser” who had held the bottom spot in the grade for years. They became desk mates and began a hilarious contest to see who could do worse.

Lu Xingye: “These questions are so easy. How can I get them wrong without making it obvious?”

Shen Yiqing: “If I’m going to rank last, I’ll have to work even harder than him at learning how to be a loser.”

Then one day, they met at the International Olympiad. Seeing the gold medals on each other’s chests, they both fell silent.

Lu Xingye: ?

Shen Yiqing: ?

We agreed to be academic losers, so why were you secretly becoming a genius?
