People here are good at "daily memory magic", such as weaving "the memory of mother knitting sweaters" into warm "memory fabric", and condensing "memory of fireflies on summer nights" into lighting "memory stones". The magic is weak but close to life, and is a "gentle paving area" for the world view.
Star City: A floating city-state on the northern plateau, with "astrological memory" as its core. The mages here perform magic by reading the "memory of the ancient world" sealed in the star track, such as "astrology divination" and "stardust shield". They have the top magic school in Etra, the "Star Track Academy", which is a "knowledge and mystery area".
