Help! My Cheat Is a Crazy Author

What difference does it make if I know I’m a character in a book? Does it matter whether this is real or not? I will live a real life in this illusion, and escape the author’s mockery and control over my fate.

Even if the edges of the pages close around me like a cage, and the trail of ink binds me like a predetermined script, I will make my heart a blade and slash through the veil of fiction. I will sing a song of defiance and turn the gears of fate against their course. Even if this world is nothing but words written by someone else, I will write my own ending and make this cage of fiction the place where I break free.
