“Sign this divorce agreement, and we'll both be free.”
Zhao Tingye had no idea that this Si Qingqing was no longer the same Si Qingqing as before.
The words “divorce agreement” made Si Qingqing blink. She asked calmly, “What about the children?”
Zhao Tingye said, “There has never been a precedent for a woman taking the children after a divorce. They're members of the Zhao family, so they'll stay at the prince's manor. Besides, could you even afford to raise them?”
Si Qingqing laughed in disbelief, snatched the agreement, and tore it to shreds.
Divorce? Not a chance.
You want to be free? I'll make you wish you were dead.
Zhao Tingye roared in fury, “What are you doing?!”
Si Qingqing replied, “I want to be a widow!”
Zhao Tingye is Du Ruoruo's devoted lapdog.
Si Qingqing treats him like a piece of furniture.
She opens hot pot and barbecue restaurants, sells potato cakes and skincare products, and counts the emperor, the empress, Noble Consort Jing, noblewomen, palace ladies, and court officials among her customers.
With her two little ones, Si Qingqing eats, drinks, and has fun, thriving in life as she makes money, loves herself, and lives to a ripe old age.
Yet Zhao Tingye keeps watching her and regularly comes over to her.
“Princess Consort, they say you've taken a lover?”
“Princess Consort, replace your guards with women!”
She smiles. “Your Highness, take care of your beloved. We'll stay out of each other's way.”
It's interesting, good-looking, and has cute characters. It would be better if it had more love lines between the male and female protagonists.
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
