Sun Wukong was puzzled. Why had they joined forces with the Tathagata to trick him?
Tang Sanzang thought to himself: Because you nearly tore down the Jade Emperor’s Hall of Miraculous Clouds!
Tang Sanzang was puzzled too. Why was this pilgrimage so difficult, with demons everywhere?
Zhu Bajie said, “It’s got something to do with Sun Wukong.”
During Tang Sanzang’s first nine lifetimes, he had journeyed alone, encountering no demons along the way and traveling on a smooth, open road. But in his tenth life, after Sun Wukong joined him, demons were everywhere!
Sun Wukong said, “Impossible. None of those demons were a match for me. They were just lining up to get themselves killed.”
The demons said, “Eating Tang Sanzang’s flesh will grant eternal life.”
And why were the immortals of the Heavenly Court and the sacred mounts of Spirit Mountain coming down to the mortal realm to become demons?
Sun Wukong said, “Why not catch one and ask?”
Later...
Tang Sanzang asked, “Sun Wukong, the Tathagata Buddha’s Five Elements Mountain clearly couldn’t hold you down. Why didn’t you come out for five hundred years?”
Sun Wukong smiled brightly. “Didn’t I tell you back then? There were things I couldn’t figure out, so I stayed under the mountain to keep thinking.”
Tang Sanzang asked, “Have you figured them out now?”
Sun Wukong slowly rose to his feet, his expression solemn as he gazed toward the Western Heaven. “I have. So now we’re going to Spirit Mountain.”
This book is a bit interesting [Learned]
It's interesting. I feel that the Great Sage has already reached the level of a saint. Hey, the Great Sage is really interesting. The others are really boring. That Tang Monk is still the same.
This is Sun Wukong who is truly capable of equaling the heavens and is a true Mahayana saint. The back part is a bit too watery. What are you doing with so many boring scenes?
Come on, author, the great sage's Taoist heart has indeed been written down. What is Buddha, what is evil, and what is good?
This is really interesting
This book is beautiful and the character of the Great Sage is very full.
Not bad, but the results are not very good. Five stars to encourage you and don't stop updating.
