Deep in the mountains, inside an abandoned sword graveyard, the despised young servant A Yan clutched a rusted ancient sword in the depths of despair.
The sword spirit awoke, lazy and sharp-tongued. “You little runt, want to learn swordsmanship? I’ll teach you something different.”
And so, a heaven-defying art called the Sword-Burying Technique burst onto the scene.
While sword cultivators across the land pursued speed, sharpness, and an edge that could pierce anything, A Yan’s sword sought bluntness, clumsiness, and a blade hidden in its sheath. The martial world mocked him: “Can a blunt sword even kill?”
He silently absorbed the deathly aura of countless broken swords, tempering himself into something imperishable amid annihilation. At first, all he wanted was to stop being bullied. Then, atop the Azure Cloud Peak, he used clumsiness to overcome skill and buried every sharp edge beneath the heavens.
But just as he thought he had reached the pinnacle of the sword path, the firmament split open, and immortals and gods descended upon the world.
They treated the mortal realm as a pasture and all living beings as ants, harvesting faith and enslaving everything. Amid the cataclysm, dynasties crumbled, sects bowed their heads, and every last trace of hope was extinguished.
As the immortals and gods gazed down upon the mortal world and prepared to decide its final fate, A Yan slowly drew the rusted sword at his waist, a blade that had never truly left its sheath.
The sword pointed not at any one enemy, but at the very rules that sustained them, at the Heavenly Dao that had hung over the world for eons and now lay rotten to its core!
“Your era ends now.”
I wield a sword, seeking neither immortality nor invincibility.
I seek only to bury all the gods and bring this mortal world a clean, new dawn.
The idea is good, I hope the content behind it won't be too cliche.
