A New Song of Iron Hooves

In an age of turmoil and war, Zhang Tieniu, a farmer's son, is swept into the tide of battle. He gathers a band of ordinary soldiers and founds the Chasing the Deer Iron Battalion. Under unimaginable pressure, they keep winning one grueling battle after another with methods that are as homespun as they are ingenious. Enemy threats, internal divisions, twists and turns in their friendships, and life-or-death trials unfold one after another. Through the teamwork of Tieniu, Jinsong, Xue'er, Zhao Erpao, and the others, the Chasing the Deer Iron Battalion grows from an unknown squad into a mighty force capable of changing the world. With humor, hard work, one ingenious stratagem after another, and a thrilling, unpredictable journey, they write the ultimate underdog story of ordinary soldiers.
