Natural disasters struck, human civilization collapsed, cities were reduced to ruins, and order was lost. Ordinary survivors headed by Sun Lele form a "Laughing at the Doomsday" team. In the crisis-ridden apocalypse, they use humor and wisdom to find opportunities for survival in despair. They use jokes, unity and innovative spirit to fight against extreme difficulties, while building a sincere bond with each other to continue to grow and redeem themselves. After the crisis escalated, the team gradually expanded, wrestling with new hostile forces in the wider wilderness. In the end, everyone used humor and unity to create new hope, so that humanity and laughter would not die out in the end.
