After waking up, I found myself reborn as a stubborn stone on Flower-Fruit Mountain, right next door to Sun Wukong?
Wait, my soul is actually that long-dead ancient Demon Ancestor, Luo Hou?
The War Between Dao and Demons ended with my death and the destruction of my Dao? No, that was merely my plan to escape by faking my death! Hongjun, Heavenly Dao, everything you made me suffer, I’ll repay a hundredfold!
The Calamity of Journey to the West? The eastward spread of Buddhism? A gluttonous feast of fortune for the Three Realms?
Sorry, I’m claiming it all first!
While Sun Wukong still slumbers inside the immortal stone, Luo Hou has already corrupted the entire monkey troop, quietly taking over the Water Curtain Cave ahead of schedule.
While Patriarch Bodhi is still waiting for the one chosen by fate, Luo Hou has already etched the Great Heavenly Demon Art and the Seventy-Two Transformations Demon God Scripture into Sun Wukong’s very bones!
“Wukong, I’m teaching you the Somersault Cloud not so you can sneak up to Heaven and steal peaches, but so you can stir up chaos and buy time for the Demon Ancestor’s return!”
“The Sea-Calming Needle? No, that’s the Dragon Han Banner of Ten Thousand Souls I prepared for you! Raising havoc in Heaven? Think bigger. Come with me and corrupt the Heavenly Court!”
When the “Golden Headband” Sun Wukong wears turns out to be the Heart-Seed Demon Circlet, when the eighty-one trials become a proving ground for the Demon Cult, and when Tang Sanzang’s pilgrimage team is “demonic” through and through...
The Three Pure Ones are baffled, the Tathagata is stunned, and the Jade Emperor trembles in the Hall of Miraculous Mist.
“Quick... Go to the Purple Heavens Palace and summon the Dao Ancestor!”
“The Dao Ancestor? Heh. Hongjun, come out and face me! In this life, the Heavenly Dao will be ruled by the Demonic Dao!”
This is the blazing tale of a cunning old demon reborn in the primordial world, raising the chosen one into the strongest demon disciple, plotting at every turn, scheming against the Three Realms, overturning Journey to the West, and challenging the Heavenly Dao!
