In order to keep her only relative, Liu Ruyan, an orphan girl from Qingshi Town, found an opportunity to cultivate immortality in a desperate situation, and worshiped the Qingyun Sect with a unique high-grade wood spirit root. She does not seek to fly to the sky or escape from the earth, nor does she care about power disputes. She only takes "immortality" as her obsession and walks alone on the thorny road of cultivating immortality. The sect is divided, good and evil confront each other, and the road is ruthless. She breaks through the situation with tenacity, protects the road with her medical skills, tempers her Taoist heart at the edge of life and death, and sticks to her true heart in the entanglement of love and hate. From the Bluestone Cold Pond to the Nine Heavens Fairyland, from an ignorant girl to the Immortal Lord, Liu Ruyan spanned a thousand years and experienced thousands of tribulations, just to protect the original promise, and finally discovered the true meaning of immortality at the peak that no one can reach.
