A young chef or food lover from the 21st century traveled to China in the 1970s when supplies were scarce and became the backbone of a poor family. A seemingly ordinary old tablecloth can conjure food out of thin air every day. Food comes from all over the world: food may come from any time and space at home and abroad (ancient royal meals, future nutritional creams, fantasy ingredients from other worlds, food in anime, etc.)

This book really blends absurdity with fireworks. The props and stories on the tablecloth are like freshly baked sorghum glutinous rice, sticky, sweet and with an earthy smell. Those details that were eaten away by the hungry years, mixed with Mo Yan's pen, turned into the most vivid folk epic - it turns out that suffering can also ferment into wine, making people so drunk that they can't distinguish between reality and legend.
I prefer food articles, but what about the educated youth in the 1970s? The educated youth went there, and the relaxation of policies was at least after 1978.
It's not easy😦😦😦😦😦😦😦😦😦😦😦Eating a big portion is not enough for me to eat alone
But it's 3 chapters gone
