[Honkai: Star Rail + The Legend of the White Snake + single male lead: Sui + single female lead: Romantic Scholar + female rival: Kennis + over-the-top + bizarre + deranged + surreal + the family has already hired an expert + apologies to everyone]

[Aha happened to watch The Legend of the White Snake and laughed for forty-nine days straight, so they happily wrote this book.]

Emperor Sui of Amphoreus, on the enthusiastic recommendation of his chancellor Aglaea, appoints Kennis of the Senate as his empress.

Ti Bao, Ti An, and Ti Ning race off at top speed, with the west wind at their backs and rocket launchers in hand, delivering wedding invitations to every household in the holy city of Okhema.

At the wedding, Cerydra serves as the master of ceremonies; Anaxa, Grand Censor, writes the ceremonial address; Mydei, the Grand Marshal, acts as security; White Night, of Elysia’s Kitchen, brings delicacies from land and sea; Evernight, Tribbie, Castorice, and Cipher serve as bridesmaids; Welt, Dan Heng, and Sunday are groomsmen. Even Herta comes to celebrate. The Empress Dowager Himeko speaks tenderly to Empress Kennis: “Having such a wonderful daughter-in-law to continue the imperial line is a blessing for our royal family.”

Who could have known that Kennis would suddenly faint?

To save his beloved empress, Kennis, Sui throws Romantic Scholar, who loves him deeply, into the snake pit.

After Romantic Scholar risks her life to give Sui a child, the domineering Sui says with three parts mockery, three parts cold indifference, and four parts nonchalance, “Take this half-mechanical, half-snake demon child and feed it to the eagles!”

Only then does Romantic Scholar finally come to her senses and turn evil, swearing revenge on Sui and Kennis.

But she still can’t bring herself to hurt Sui, so she forgives him, and the two reconcile.

After Kennis dies, Romantic Scholar and Sui are joined as one, living together in loving harmony for all eternity.
