In 1983, the life of a Sichuan boy Ling Rong began to go astray when his father gave him the name "Rong". The principal of Enlightenment renamed him as "Yun" in Top Gun, and a clerical error in the personnel system designated him as "Ying" inexplicably. For half a century, he struggled to move forward with the "ambition to reach the clouds", but had to repeatedly prove "I am who I am" between the shackles of "honor" and the absurdity of "hero".
