The Great Ning's Poetry Immortal: My Verse Shocks the World

Lin Mo never imagined that one drunken night would transmigrate him to the golden age of the Kaiyuan era in the Great Ning Dynasty. More absurdly, a “Timeless Poetry System” had appeared in his mind!

From the start, he was at a banquet full of powerful nobles. When someone provoked him, he could only bite the bullet and “borrow” the line “Clouds recall her robes, flowers her face.” To his surprise, even the capital's most celebrated poetess took notice. To establish himself in this golden age of literature, he swept his brush across the page and wrote, “The Great River flows east.” The Hanlin Academy convened an emergency meeting that night, and even the emperor on the throne was shaken.

But as his fame rose, so too did the undercurrents at court, the envy of the great clans, and the fires of war on the frontier. What frightened him most was his discovery that someone seemed to have carefully altered the literary history of this world. A shocking case buried for over a century was being uncovered, page by page, through his poems.

When ink and brush become swords, and poetry can shape the world, he will wield his pen like a blade: to give purpose to heaven and earth, secure a future for the people, and win justice for the truth buried beneath the dust of time.
