When Chen Mo wakes up, he has transmigrated to a parallel world and become Li Che, a wife-beating man hated by everyone.
His adorable daughter regards him like a snake or scorpion, while his wife, Su Wanqing, has given up on her dream of becoming a singer and is utterly heartbroken.
The only thing he can do is give everything he has to make amends.
Starting with a warm home-cooked meal, he carefully works to mend a family on the verge of breaking apart.
At the same time, he brings the cultural treasures of another world to this one, paving the way for his wife to return to the top.
When her beautiful singing voice once again fills the skies, his daughter finally smiles at him.
