His Warm Sunshine Won’t Let Her Run

[Warm, sunny heroine × cool, aloof, high-born CEO + obsessive, lovesick, controlling male lead with overwhelming possessiveness and a mad streak + confines the heroine later on + forced love]

Su Tang is a warm little sun who falls for the cool and elegant Lu Shizhou. At first, even she thinks she’s aiming too high. But no one knows what kind of obsessive longing lies beneath Lu Shizhou’s seemingly distant gaze.

She goes to great lengths to win him over, thinking it’s the start of a sweet romance. But she gradually discovers that her perfect boyfriend has terrifyingly intense possessiveness. He won’t let her talk to other men, secretly deletes her male friends, and every man who appears in her life ends up meeting with misfortune... He even installs a tracker on her phone.

And that’s only the beginning... When she eventually discovers just how crazy he is and asks to break up, he threatens her with his own life, holding a sharp knife to himself, and even begins to confine her...

“For eighteen years, I’ve lived only to find you and protect you. Now that you don’t want me anymore, my life has no meaning. Tangtang, either you make up with me, or I’ll die right in front of you...”

His obsessive, lovesick nature is on full display, his fixation nearly driving him mad. Su Tang is so frightened she wants to run, until she learns about the childhood trauma he’s kept buried in his heart: abandoned by his parents, ostracized and bullied, with only a vague memory of a warm ray of sunshine from his childhood offering him salvation…
