"Youth in Summer" tells the story of a group of teenagers, Lin Ye, Jiang Wanqing, Song Bingcheng, and Wei Xiaojing, who face study pressure, family troubles, and emotional turmoil with a humorous attitude on a campus where grass grows and birds fly. The story begins with the military training of high school freshmen, and goes through academic exams, friendship crises, undercurrents of first love, youth rebellion, and finally enters a different university life after leaving the college entrance examination. Each volume tells the story of everyone's transformation from different perspectives, including mutual support and accidental injury, laughter and reconciliation, self-doubt and self-transcendence.
