Great Ming: I Saved Empress Ma from the Start, Leaving Old Zhu Stunned

Hu Yan, a modern man, wakes up as the son of Hu Weiyong, a treacherous minister of the Ming Dynasty. From the start, he’s facing a countdown to the execution of his entire family!

To stay alive, he whips out penicillin and saves Empress Ma, uses cowpox inoculation to cure the imperial eldest grandson, and even helps stabilize Crown Prince Zhu Biao.

Zhu Yuanzhang is stunned: “You saved my wife, my son, and my eldest grandson?”

From then on, the Ming Dynasty has one fewer wastrel and one more carefree imperial son-in-law who can turn stone into gold.

He makes cement, opens banks, destroys the Northern Yuan, and pacifies the Japanese pirates... Just as life keeps getting better, Zhu Yuanzhang quietly pulls him aside and asks:

“Hu Yan, give me a straight answer. Is your father... still planning to rebel or not?”
