The Child of the Divine Tree

This book tells the story of a divine tree that grew on Mount Sumeru when the Three Realms first came into being. Drawing on the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, it gave birth to sixteen spirits. Each was born with a mission to help the tree protect Mount Sumeru! Every ten thousand years, a baby clutching a leaf is born. The material of the leaf in their hand determines which part of the Three Realms they will be sent to, where they must awaken their innate ability before returning to the tree’s celestial domain and reconstructing their true form. But turmoil from demonic energy in the Three Realms has disrupted the tree’s flow of vital energy, leaving it on the verge of withering. As a result, the seventeenth baby arrived fifty thousand years later than the others. She is a spirit formed from the last trace of the tree’s power! Clutching a piece of uncarved jade, she will travel to the mortal world to awaken her innate ability and protect the tree as it nears its decline. What stories will she encounter along the way...
