Ashes of the Imperial Palace

In a fictional dynasty, Shen Qinglian, the daughter of a minor official, enters the palace as a low-ranking consort. After winning the emperor's favor, she is framed by Consort De, thrown into the Cold Palace, and her family is exiled to the borderlands. After an amnesty, she joins forces with the empress, only to be framed again. Fortunately, the former Imperial Consort Dowager, the emperor's birth mother, comes to her aid. One friend and family member after another is killed or forced out of the story, and her twin sister sacrifices herself to save her. Shen Qinglian turns completely ruthless and ultimately topples the false empress dowager and the empress, claiming the throne as empress dowager herself.
