In "Baishui Town", a small border town in the Central Plains, troubled times are approaching and people's livelihood is in decline. While struggling to survive, a group of teahouse little people (waiters, cooks, entertainers, down-and-out scholars, and gangsters) got involved in the whirlpool of local and court power.
