Tearing Apart the Entertainment Industry with Criminal Law

Showbiz | Strong Female Lead | Industry Shake-Up | Power Couple | Feel-Good Revenge

Shen Qinghuan, a third-rate lawyer, is forced to clean up the mess her cousin left behind when she ran off: a washed-up girl group plagued by contract disputes, whose members are all drama queens.

Faced with a crooked boss trying to poach her clients, rivals smearing her, and a pile of bizarre contracts that read like indenture agreements, Shen Qinghuan sighs and quietly opens the newly bound [Showbiz Legal Code] System.

From then on, the winds of the entertainment industry change.

Her former boss shows up to snatch away her people? She hits back with the Labor Contract Law and sues him until he pays for their contract terminations.

Rival fans relentlessly smear them online? She serves up the full package: notarization, filing a case, and a one-stop service that sends the opposing company to make its debut together in the defendant's dock.

A top-tier star maliciously steals their opportunities? Sorry, but this evidence of a "dual-contract scheme" is enough to put you on the industry's blacklist.

When Shen Qinghuan takes her girl group from "washed-up nobodies in the making," mocked by the entire internet, to the biggest winners at the year-end awards, reporters ask how she turns everything she touches to gold.

She merely waves the Civil Code in her hand and smiles at the camera. "There's no secret. I just know the law pretty well."

Later, a saying spreads throughout the industry: Better to offend the King of Hell than Shen Lang.
