My Socially Anxious Therapist Is a Demon-Slaying Expert

A shy, introverted, and compassionate psychologist who is secretly a demon-slaying powerhouse × a cold, abstinent, and supremely rational fund manager who is actually a mysterious guardian

Did you know that mental illnesses are merely warnings of some unknown presence descending upon the world?

Obsession, jealousy, despair… These extreme emotions, once thought to be invisible afflictions of the mind, are not without substance. They are breeding grounds for “mind demons,” and every loss of emotional control could be the moment one breaks free of its shell.

Su Nian'an, a socially anxious psychologist, has a secret: an ancient mirror that lets her enter the depths of other people's minds and slay their demons. The mirror is both her strongest asset and the key to unraveling the mysteries of her past.

Lu Lichuan is her patient, on the verge of collapse from severe mental contamination. He comes to Su Nian'an with his consciousness in tatters, seeking a chance to survive, but instead their fates become inextricably intertwined.

To “cure” him, Su Nian'an enters his mental realm.

It turns out his “illness” is the last line of defense keeping the entire world from being devoured by mind demons!

When Lu Lichuan drops his cold, abstinent facade and gazes at her with a vulnerability he has never shown before, every word weighs heavily: “Dr. Su, if the world is destined to be devoured by emotion, then I choose to become your sharpest blade.”
