The recruitment notice for the night shift in the Old City Archives contains strange clauses - "It is forbidden to browse the files in Room 302 after 12 midnight", "You must close your eyes and remain silent for 30 seconds when you hear footsteps in the corridor" and "Never respond to the person behind you who calls your name."
Unemployed Lin Xia signed an agreement for a high salary, but found that every rule came with a fatal price. Colleagues who violated the rules disappeared one after another, whispers came from deep in the archives, and the door lock of Room 302 became increasingly loose.
When the rules conflict with the survival instinct, Lin Xia must choose between obeying the strange stories, finding the truth, or escaping from the desperate situation. But she doesn't know that she has already become a part of the rules.
