In 2025, a physical and mental therapy called "mirror meditation" has quietly become popular among the elites of the cosmopolitan "Hai Shi", claiming to be able to reflect inner anxieties and purify the soul. However, as the number of participants increased day by day, the city began to be enveloped by a strange "mirror dislocation" phenomenon: some people saw another "self" grinning at them in the reflection of the window in the middle of the night; some people found that their own shadow was half a second slower than the movement; the glass curtain wall of the entire office building reflected a purgatory-like scene at the same time at a certain moment.
New detective Lin Che, while investigating a series of bizarre suicide cases, discovered that all the deceased were loyal users of "mirror meditation" during their lifetimes, and they all left the same rant before their death: "The person in the mirror is the real one." When he went deep into this world composed of high technology, ancient curses and When he was immersed in the maze of human desires, he discovered that the figure of his deceased sister frequently appeared in various reflective surfaces, leading him to a terrifying truth that could swallow up the entire city... When the boundary between reality and mirror image is completely blurred, do you still dare to believe your eyes?

I clicked on this book late at night and didn't dare to look at the reflection outside the window. The misaligned details on the mirror were so poignant, the slow-moving shadows, the grinning self in the window, and the unknown suffocating feeling of Cthulhu. Every step Lin Che took while investigating the case seemed to be stepping on the border between reality and madness. She had great stamina!
The scene of Lin Che looking for his sister in front of various mirrors clearly has a scary atmosphere, but you can still feel the panic hidden in his police uniform. This contrast of holding a trace of warmth in the horror maze makes the protagonist suddenly look three-dimensional, and he is not a cold tool for solving crimes.
The plot hook is too cruel! The bizarre suicide case and the nonsense that the people in the mirror are real build up the suspense from the beginning. The setting of Lin Che's late sister frequently appearing in the reflective surface ties the search for the truth and the search for relatives together. The end of each chapter makes people scratch their heads and want to read the next chapter.
After I get home every night, what I look forward to most is to open my phone and read this novel. It is really a wonderful end to the day.
It is rare to see such a good book. If the author keeps up his efforts,
