The Marquis's Manor's Female Physician: A Comeback Story

Synopsis

Su Qingyuan, a modern surgical genius, is accidentally electrocuted after a grueling operation. Her soul transmigrates into the fictional Great Jing Dynasty, where she becomes Shen Qingyuan, an illegitimate daughter of the Loyal Marquis's household. Bullied by all, she lost her birth mother at an early age. The original Shen Qingyuan was timid and weak, shunned by the household because of rumors that she was cursed to bring her mother's death. After she was pushed into the water in a plot and nearly drowned, Su Qingyuan was reborn in her body.

Armed with modern medical knowledge and surgical skills, Shen Qingyuan (Su Qingyuan) resolves never to let others walk all over her again. First, she uses her superb medical skills to save herself and shed her reputation as a sickly girl. Then she carefully navigates the household, exposes the servants' schemes, puts her cruel stepmother and legitimate elder sister in their place, and gradually establishes herself.

By chance, she treats the Seventh Prince, Xiao Jingyuan, after he is ambushed while traveling incognito. Outwardly gentle, Xiao Jingyuan is in fact calculating, secretly maneuvering to seize the throne. Drawn to Shen Qingyuan's intelligence, courage, and unique medical skills, he goes from testing her to trusting her, and the two form a secret alliance.

Shen Qingyuan uses her medical skills to save lives and build connections. She rises from an illegitimate daughter in the marquis's household to a renowned female physician in the capital, making her mark during events such as a plague outbreak and battlefield triage, and challenging the constraints imposed on women by her era. But her rise also brings danger: the marquis's household grows wary of her, the imperial harem plots against her, political rivals suppress her, and modern medicine clashes with ancient codes of propriety.

Amid the turbulent struggles of the court and the inner household, Shen Qingyuan relies on her wit and medical skills to overcome one crisis after another. She not only clears her own name and that of her birth mother, but also helps Xiao Jingyuan remove the obstacles in his path. As they face the future together, feelings begin to blossom between them.
