In the future city "New Island" where memories can be extracted, traded and erased, Ling Chen, the top "memory hunter", makes a living by pursuing lost memories. He is calm and efficient, but he can't find his incomplete past. A mysterious commission breaks his numb life - an elegant woman named Yi Su pays a high price, just to find a "blank" memory, a record of "nothingness" itself. This seemingly absurd task drags Ling Chen into a huge vortex intertwined by top technology companies, underground memory black markets and forgotten ghosts.
