From Siheyuan Elder to the Top Official in Handong

Lu Yi transmigrates into the world of the Siheyuan, breaks He Yuzhu’s leg, beats Jia Zhangshi to a pulp, and takes Yi Zhonghai’s place as the head of Courtyard No. 95. From then on, the courtyard’s troublemakers experience the crushing force of power. Yi Zhonghai calls a courtyard meeting: “Our Courtyard No. 95 is a civilized place, so I’ve gathered everyone here to ask you to help the Jia family through their difficulties.” Lu Yi appears at just the right moment: “Yi Zhonghai, I’m the head of the courtyard. Did you get my permission before calling on everyone to donate to the Jia family?” Jia Zhangshi sits on the ground and makes a scene: “Old Jia, come up and see! This little bastard is bullying me!” Lu Yi: “You dare spread feudal ideas in front of me? Take her on a public march.” Even after becoming disabled, He Yuzhu remains infatuated with Qin Huairu: “Lu Yi, you can’t bully Sister Qin!” Lu Yi: “You dare ambush the head of the courtyard? Teach him a lesson with my fists, then make him clean the toilets for life.” Thirty years later, the fates of everyone in the courtyard have changed beyond recognition. Lu Yi, meanwhile, has risen through the ranks of government and heads to Handong Province to govern a region. His five younger siblings have also made names for themselves in the military, politics, and business.
