On the surface, it’s an ordinary tech company in the city. In reality, it’s home to a group of guardians gifted with supernatural abilities. The boss, Lin Yan, carries an ancestral compass for suppressing evil, which lets him discern yin and yang and dispel malevolent spirits. His partner, Zhang Yue, excels at talismans and formations and inherits the orthodox traditions of the mystic arts. Their friend Xiong Ming comes from the Xiong family of the Beipanjiang Wu clan and understands the secrets of nature’s power. Alongside them are Su Xiao, an employee who is naive but brings good fortune wherever she goes, and Xuanhu, an adorable pet who has awakened earth-element powers. Together, they form the core team at Qiming Technology.
From life-or-death struggles deep in ancient tombs to undercurrents of family feuds, the people of Qiming Technology always take loyalty as their shield and the mystic arts as their blade. Every strange occurrence tests their courage and wits; every crisis brings a clash of human nature and obsession.
Amid the intertwining of city life and secret realms, they must protect ordinary people who know nothing of the hidden world while uncovering secrets buried by time. This is an adventure of protection, discovery, and growth, as well as a city chronicle of strange happenings and heartfelt bonds.
