Dreaming Without a Return Date

[Parallel World in Dreams + Reality + Adult Regrets] Twenty-nine-year-old Xu Zhixia is trapped between the podium of a public elementary school and an ordinary marriage. She faces parents' complaints and her husband's silence, and repeatedly chews on the regrets of breaking up with Jiang Yichen because he "didn't dare to bet on a different place." In a trance after an emotional breakdown, the two accidentally broke into a "parallel time and space" - here Xu Zhixia is a substitute teacher in a private elementary school, single and drifting, trying his best for stability; here Jiang Yichen has a complete family, but is overwhelmed by mortgage loans and childcare. They thought they had glimpsed "another kind of perfection", but after experiencing each other's lives, they discovered: Choose A, you must hold on to the original intention that has been tempered by daily life, rice, rice, oil and salt; Choice B, you must accept the loneliness after moving forward alone. There are no miracles that change one's destiny, no fairy tales of reunion, only the truth of the adult world: there is never an optimal solution in life, and all choices contain irreparable regrets. Those unspoken farewells, the obsessions that were not persisted to the end, and the time that was not cherished have all turned into feathers in life. The so-called growth is just seeing clearly that "no matter what choice you make, you will regret it", and still learning to reconcile with regrets, and conscientiously walk the rest of the road on your own track.
